Hazop+ Items

What are Hazop Items?

The Items data sheet allows the user to enter information describing the items associated with the Hazop study. This includes: the item name, P&ID reference, drawing number, description and design intent.

Each item has one or more parameter and guide word combinations associated with it in the Study data sheet. These combinations are sometimes known as deviations and represent a hazard or operability issue in the system under consideration. For each of these combinations the study record is completed, with the text being entered under each study heading.
